Popular stage and film actor Kenneth MacDonald appeared as a judge for the first time in this episode. He had a recurring role as a judge for 32 episodes, including the series finale, The Case of the Final Fade-Out, in which Perry Mason creator Erle Stanley Gardner also appeared as a judge.

Darryl Hickman, who played Steve Harris, is the older brother of The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis star Dwayne Hickman. Darryl Hickman was a popular child star in the 1920s and 1930s and had appeared in more than one hundred motion pictures by the time he was 21 years old.

Jack Harris appeared as a court clerk in eight episodes.
